During my time at Tes, a leading global provider of software, services and insights for the education sector, I created a series of typography-led animated assets for social and digital channels designed to communicate key product messaging in a fast, engaging and highly accessible format.
The challenge was to deliver content that felt unmistakably Tes; clean, intelligent and trustworthy, while also performing effectively in increasingly crowded social feeds where capturing attention within the first few seconds is critical.
Using kinetic typography, motion principles and strong visual hierarchy, I developed a range of short-form animations that transformed static messaging into dynamic, scroll-stopping content. These assets helped simplify complex propositions, making them easier for school leaders, educators and decision-makers to understand quickly.
One example promoted Tes’ recruitment offering, highlighting the benefits of its pay-as-you-go job advertising service for schools. Another explored a more editorial approach, using animated customer testimonials to showcase user feedback for Provision Map (later rebranded as Tes Learning Plans), helping communicate customer trust and product value in a visually compelling way.
My role covered concept development, design, animation and refinement—ensuring every asset aligned with brand guidelines while maintaining clarity, pace and visual impact across multiple digital touchpoints.
