Whilst working at Express Printing in my home town of Bognor Regis, I got to work with Butlins on a fair few projects over the years there before moving to London.
Creating a poster for the local train station using their branding at the time was a great project in the early days of my career as it was a fairly big name on my CV, coupled with being potentially the largest piece of ‘artwork’ in the town, and one of the first things people would see when stepping off the train when visiting the seaside town.
I was provided with copy and images to use, and they made a point that they wanted to include everything provided, so coming up with something fairly balanced was a challenge.
Here’s the end result that was signed off by their head office:
